Arctic Survival - Tree-line
Cost: $1240 (Note) | Course Length: 4 days | Min/Max # Students: 8/12
A physically and mentally challenging course designed to help people survive an unexpected emergency below the tree-line.
Though demanding, this course is achievable by candidates in average physical condition. A standard course includes 8 hours of classroom instruction and 2 days and nights on the land, however, the training schedule can be adjusted to ensure successful completion of all the clients training objectives.
Arctic Survival is ideal for:
• Most Territorial and Federal employees
• Fire and police departments
• Snowmobiler’s, hunters & ice fishermen
• Industrial emergency response teams
• Ground Search and Rescue teams
The course includes:
• Rescue coordination and tactics
• Individual and group survivor psychology
• Priorities of survival
• Use of survival kits and improvised skills
• Cold weather first aid
Prior to training, Arctic Response personnel will review your organization’s emergency reporting / response procedures and survival equipment and incorporate them into your course serial.
