Aircraft Underwater Egress

This training prepares pilots, crew and passengers for over-water emergencies while travelling in small airplanes and helicopters.
Emphasis is placed on specific techniques for escaping submerged and inverted airframes.
Classroom training includes preparation/pre-flight safety, first aid and post incident survival in Northern operations.
Students will learn and practice egress skills in a pool environment, guided by instructors using two different multi seat airframe simulators.
Scenarios are designed to build confidence and progress in difficulty as the students comfort level increases.
