Arctic Response provides certified instruction of the Royal Life Saving Society program of Swift Water Safety and Rescue (SWSR) training for individuals, small parties and professional responders.
SWSR trains the candidate in personal safety when working on or near moving bodies of water and effective rescue techniques at the self and small party levels.
Courses are specifically tailored with a wide range of elective skills for professional responders. Arctic Response SWSR training includes post rescue medical and sustaining care appropriate to the students training and operating environment.
SWSR requires a minimum of 4 hours of classroom and 16 hours of practical training.
Arctic Response provides wet and dry suits and all other necessary equipment for student comfort and safety including RDC Oceanaid rescue craft and a variety of professional and improvised rescue devices for this training.
