Arctic Response provides certified instruction of the Canadian Safety Council All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) course.

This training program teaches ATV riders the principles and behaviours of safe and responsible ATV riding through lectures, classroom discussion and hands-on riding lessons.

Discussion led seminars explore fundamental safety principles and practices of ATV operation. The riding lessons provide hands-on practice of riding exercise and strategies under the direct supervision of a licensed instructor.

A rider’s knowledge and skills are evaluated throughout the program. Each lesson contains specific performance objectives and evaluation points. A rider works toward achieving the objective of a lesson by learning and practicing structured activities within the ATV Rider Course. Riders are provided positive reinforcement not only to develop skills but to recognize and appreciate safe responsible riding practices.
