Ice Auger training provides students with insight into the common hazards associated with power Ice Augers.

Theory training is subject to equipment familiarization, proper technique, maintenance, trouble-shooting, PPE & environmental considerations.

An in-class task hazard analysis specific to the practical training site is constructed prior to mobilization into the field.

Equipment familiarization is specific to the client(s) current make and model of power auger.

Practical training allows students to build upon existing theory knowledge with hands on experience. Students are required to demonstrate proficiency in the safe operation and handling of a power auger under direction from one of our qualified instructors. Drilling exercises are carefully planned to ensure students are prepared for the widest range of scenarios they are likely to face while in the field.
