AWP training investigates the hazards and provides practical safeguards to the dangers of working with and on Aerial Work Platforms, raising awareness to the potential severity of injury, property and equipment loss or damage due to unsecured loads, over-loading and collapse of AWP”s.
Training encompasses the rights of workers as related to safety, duties and responsibilities, calculating load weights, hazards in operating areas and types of AWP’s. This program also outlines the requirements for fall protection, safe work plans and effective rescue plans.
